![]() Adventures of the Falcon was a hard-boiled detective drama broadcast from 1943 to 1953. Berry Kroeger starred as Michael Warning, the Falcon. Warning was a freelance detective who was "always ready with a hand for oppressed men and an eye for repressed women." Berry Kroeger provided the first radio voice of the Falcon, followed by James Meighan, Les Tremayne, George Petrie, and Les Damon. |

The plots of the Falcon deal with crimes involving murder, theft, and espionage. Each episode opens with a telephone ring; mostly coming from a woman. Waring always manages to make the police look incompetent with his snappy and sarcastic comments. The police usually is unable to solve the mysteries without the Falcon's help. This is an excellent radio series mixed with danger, romance, and comedy in equal parts. |
